SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTIVE
ABOUT THE ROLE
Toppr is looking for a social media executive. As a social media executive, you'll enrich
Toppr's social footprint through Facebook, Instagram, YouTube & other specialized
platforms. You'll curate and create engaging content for specialized social media platforms
including Twitter and LinkedIn. You'll engage with Toppr's followers and users on company's
social media accounts. You'll build brand communities with EdTech evangelists, Teachers,
Edu-tubers, Exam Rankers, Parents and parent bloggers, Students and schools.

HOW YOU'LL RAMP
First week..
* Induction programme:
o Understand Toppr's journey, its values and mission.
o Spend time with the Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to get up-to-speed
on Toppr's offering, its competition, and future outlook.
By Day 30...
* Harness social media: Increase Toppr's awareness through monthly campaigns and
engagement. Maintenance of social media platforms and creatives as well as ORM.
Scout, liaise and manage relationships with media agencies based on campaign
requirement
* Guide a community of writers: Based on your findings, source original content for
Toppr's social media platforms - tailored for our target audience.
Day 90...
* Measure results: Monitor, measure, and improve the effectiveness of social media
campaigns.
* Stay up-to-date: Keep up with the latest social media practices, trends, and
technology.
WHAT YOU'VE ACCOMPLISHED... SO FAR
* Education: Qualification in marketing/social media is preferred
* Experience: 1-3 Years of experience in social media marketing. Proven record of
collaboration and social media content development.
* Knowledge:
o Basic ability to edit photos and video.
o Basic understanding of design process,
o Knowledge of various software such as Photoshop, Corel, Video making is a
plus.
* Soft Skills:
o Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross￾functional teams. Excellent communication and presentation skills both
verbal and written.
o Enthusiasm: Good listening and information-gathering skills. Active
participation in relevant social media venues.
o Creativity: Consistently brainstorming and collaborating with team for new
ideas and strategies.
o Data driven: Keen interest in analysing raw data, and transforming it into
actionable strategies.
